We recently dined here and had a mixed experience. The sushi shrimp tempura roll was excellent—easily a 10/10 and something we would definitely order again. Unfortunately, the teriyaki chicken was a completely different experience. My husband and I eat Japanese food frequently, and the dish did not taste right to us. The chicken had a slimy texture, an unusual smell, and did not resemble the teriyaki chicken we're accustomed to. Because of this, we chose not to eat it and left the entrée untouched. I personally went to the front desk to politely let the staff know that we would be taking the check and that we did not enjoy the teriyaki chicken. At no point did I ask for the item to be removed from the bill or request any discount. I simply wanted to provide feedback and explain why the entrée was left behind. The staff member explained that their teriyaki chicken is made with chicken legs rather than breast meat, which I acknowledged and accepted. However, the conversation became uncomfortable when she stated that this was the first complaint they had received about the dish in 25 years and appeared upset by my feedback. The service should be 10 stars. What a great spot. Food is always delish and they are so friendly and welcoming. Each time we come it continues to get better. So lucky to have this restaurant in our neighborhood.

Visited for to go lunch. I was greeted right away. Ordered and received my food quickly. The food was delicious. I would totally return.
